In Torremolinos, the source of the Incan spring, with a little help from human hands, gave rise to a beautiful park. An artificial stream originating at this same source now runs across an expansive landscape before flowing into three ponds teeming with aquatic plants and birds. Along its course, we will encounter over 500 tree species, including a 1,000- year-old wild olive tree and several eucalyptus trees whose years run into the hundreds.

At the centre of the gardens, we can lose ourselves for a while in the 50 metres hideaways and dense undergrowth that make up the natural maze of Aligustre, while our ears delight to the song of the exotic birds that greet us from the aviary. However, the charm of this legendary gardens does not end here –the old flourmill or Molino referred to their name, now a museum, still works even today, desperate no doubt to confuse and transport us back in time to witness the table of which it may once have been a part.
